Great is my pleasure and honour to address a gathering of this magnitude. My point of departure will be, the background of this association, while I was serving the South African Police Services, it was my observation that, there was no structure for serving members, as well as those who have retired from the service. It looked as if, those who have retired were tired, which was never the case. Lack of communication was seen to be the cause for that situation.
